Apple Patches Remote Code Execution Flaws in iOS, macOS

To fix two arbitrary code execution flaws in the libxml2 library, Apple delivered out-of-band updates for iOS and macOS on Tuesday. Libxml2 is a software library for processing XML documents, first created for the Gnome project and written in the C computer language.

The two flaws, identified as CVE-2022-40303 and CVE-2022-40304, have the potential to allow remote code execution. Both issues were discovered by Google Project Zero security experts, according to Apple.
