AWS Announces Authentication and Malware Protection Enhancements

AWS has introduced new security enhancements, including passkey-based MFA for IAM and root users, custom policy checks in IAM Access Analyzer, and Amazon GuardDuty Malware Protection for S3. Additionally, AWS announced a preview of natural language query generation in CloudTrail Lake and plans to establish a new region in Taiwan by early 2025.
