Hacker Sentenced After Years of Extorting Psychotherapy Patients

Aleksanteri Kivimäki, also known as “Zeekill,” has been sentenced to six years and three months in prison for extorting psychotherapy patients by stealing their records and demanding ransom. He was found guilty of thousands of counts of dissemination of private information and attempted blackmail. Kivimäki’s actions caused a significant increase in Finland’s crime figures, leading to his arrest in France after a warrant was issued in 2022.
