Google Issues Urgent Chrome Update to Patch Actively Exploited Zero-Day Vulnerability

An actively exploited zero-day vulnerability in Google’s Chrome web browser was patched on Thursday. A type misunderstanding bug in the V8 JavaScript engine has been identified as the CVE-2022-3723 vulnerability.

The vulnerability was discovered on October 25, 2022, according to security experts from Avast named Jan Vojtek, Mil�nek, and Przemek Gmerek.
