Multiple crypto domains hijacked from Squarespace due to Google Domains migration flaw

A migration flaw from Google Domains to Squarespace allowed attackers to hijack domains of cryptocurrency and DeFi firms by exploiting unregistered migrated accounts. The attackers redirected some domains to phishing sites. Affected organizations like Celer Network and Pendle Labs have since recovered their domains. The incident has highlighted security weaknesses in Squarespace’s process and led to calls for users to consider other services.
