Oracle Releases 433 New Security Patches With April 2023 CPU

As part of its quarterly batch of security updates, Oracle released 433 new patches on Tuesday, including more than 70 solutions for vulnerabilities with a severe rating. More than 250 of the vulnerabilities mentioned can be used remotely and anonymously. A few of the fixed defects have an effect on several products.

Oracle Communications received the most security fixes, 77, for the third consecutive quarter. 65 of the vulnerabilities patched can be used by remote, unauthorised attackers. A ‘critical’ severity grade is assigned to a total of 27 faults. Additionally, 76 security fixes were applied to Financial Services Applications this month. Oracle’s advisory states that 59 of the fixed issues can be used remotely over the network by attackers without the requirement for user credentials.
