Apple Patches Actively Exploited Zero-Day Affecting iPhones, Macs, and More


Apple has released software updates to fix multiple security flaws, including an actively exploited zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-24085) in Core Media, which could allow privilege escalation on compromised devices. The issue affects older iOS versions before 17.2 and has been patched in iOS/iPadOS 18.3, macOS Sequoia 15.3, tvOS 18.3, visionOS 2.3, and watchOS 11.3. Additionally, five AirPlay vulnerabilities reported by Oligo Security and three CoreAudio flaws discovered by Google TAG have been addressed. Users are advised to update their devices promptly to mitigate potential risks.
