The Eleven11bot DDoS botnet, one of the largest in recent years, has compromised up to 86,400 IoT devices, mainly security cameras and NVRs, with major impacts in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. Discovered by Nokia and tracked by Shadowserver, Censys, and GreyNoise, it has launched high-intensity attacks on gaming and communications sectors. The botnet spreads via brute-force attacks and weak IoT passwords, with 61% of its observed IPs linked to Iran. Experts urge vigilance as its activity continues to grow.
