In March 2025, Zero Defend Security unveiled Vastav AI, India's first deepfake detection system, marking a significant advancement in cybersecurity. This cloud-based platform employs advanced machine learning, forensic analysis, and metadata inspection to identify AI-generated videos, images, and audio with a reported accuracy of 99%. Designed for use by law enforcement agencies, media organizations, and cybersecurity firms, Vastav AI aims to combat the growing threat of deepfake content and misinformation. The technology was showcased at the CIDECODE hackathon organized by CID Karnataka and PES University, where it received recognition for its potential in enhancing digital content verification processes.
