In March 2025, Google rolled out Android 16 Beta 3.1, addressing several critical issues reported in the previous beta release. The update resolves a crash in the system Settings app that occurred when the device language was set to non-English languages. It also fixes a screen brightness oscillation issue between app-specified and system/user-specified settings. Additionally, the update addresses excessive battery drain caused by high CPU load and corrects memory leaks in the system server. This minor update, with a download size under 8MB, is available over-the-air to eligible Pixel devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program.
